The impact of shot content on ceramic fiber paper 1mm
High shot content means that there is much crystalline granule inside the ceramic fiber paper. Slightly big crystalline granule will have an impact on the smoothness of the paper in the production process. By appearance, we can clearly see the large slag particles that deteriorate the paper.
Through further analysis, we all know that ceramic fiber paper with good uniformity has tightly sealed structure inside the fiber cotton and has good insulation properties. For ceramic fiber paper with high shot content, the structural property and the seal will deteriorate, the hole will become larger and the convective heat transfer will increase, resulting in an increase in total thermal conductivity and a low thermal insulation performance.
The presence of slag balls in ceramic fiber paper has changed the original arrangement structure of cotton fiber. So that the gap between them becomes larger, greatly reducing the strength of the ceramic fiber paper. Once this happens, there will be deterioration in ceramic fiber paper’s abrasive resistance, electrical insulation and other properties, shortening the service life of ceramic fiber paper.
