What attention should pay when we export FCL of ceramic fiber blanket to the United States?
1.Containers that goes to the United States and will be discharged in the United States, not only have to follow the US Customs rules of providing documents 24 hours ahead, but also need to meet demands that the shipper or consignee or notifier must be clients in the contract.
2. We should clearly indicate in the blank with “Item description” on BL whether the goods is fumigated or packed with non-woody materials. The description of fumigated goods will be “THE CONTAINER HAS BEEN PROPERLY AERATED AT LEAST FOR 24 HOURS AFTER FUMIGATION, CARGO TRANSPORT UNDER FUMIGATION”；the description of non-woody package will be “THIS SHIPMENT CONTAINS NO SOLID WOODPACKING MATERIALS”. The documents we send to the customers should be clearly indicated the above matters, otherwise, the shipment will be acquiescently regarded as "non-woody package", and thus be declared to the Customs.
