Why can 1430HZ Ceramic fiber replace Chromium ceramic fiber?
Both Chromium ceramic fiber and 1430HZ ceramic fiber are made from aluminum silicate powders added with high-temperature oxide Cr2O3 and ZrO2 with the purpose of restraining the glass fiber in form of crystallization, grain growth and fiber woven contact burning in order to improve the working temperature of the fiber and its high-temperature stability. But both in the aspects of production technology and usability performance, 1430HZ ceramic fiber is better than chromium ceramic fiber.

1) Production Technology.
1430HZ Ceramic fiber has a low melting point and small energy consumption. Generally speaking, ZrO2 content ranges from 15% to 17% and the highest percentage can reach 24%. It is easy to form the fiber that has long and fine structure and high strength.
2) Application technology.
1430HZ ceramic fiber owns excellent usage performance. Using the fiber within the working temperature, you will find 1430HZ Ceramic fiber’s performance is much better than that of chromium ceramic fiber. Added with ZrO2, 1430HZ ceramic fiber has an excellent stability in high temperature and doesn’t lead to volatilization and environmental pollution.
At the same temperature, thermal insulation effects of chromium ceramic fiber blanket and 1430HZ ceramic fiber blanket are basically the same. But below 1400℃, chromium ceramic fiber blanket’s shrinkage ratio is larger than that of 1430HZ ceramic fiber blanket. All kinds of fiber should be used within classification temperature according to the application technology requirement of ceramic fiber. Therefore, in the long-term usage within working temperature, stability of 1430HZ ceramic fiber that has passed the line shrinkage index at high temperature is significantly superior to that of chrome ceramic fiber blanket.
3) Application field.
Zirconium and chromium ceramic fiber are made from composition of raw materials added with high melting-point oxide elements. At high temperature, crystallization and grain growth process can be inhibited, so the working temperature can be more than 1350℃. The products are widely used in metallurgy, petroleum, chemical, ceramics and other thermal equipment. But due to the poor stability of Cr2O3 in chromium ceramic fiber at high temperature, say, easy volatilization and certain perniciousness, the scope of its application has been limited to furnace cover, furnace door where part temperature is high. Most fields have been replaced by excellent 1430HZ ceramic fiber blanket.
