Is CCEWOOL ceramic fiber blanket& CCEWOOL Ceramic fiber felt same?
In daily work, there are customers will call ceramic fiber blanket as ceramic fiber felt, ceramic fiber blanket and ceramic fiber felt is completely different two kinds of products, while its raw material and application is similar, but there are still many differences in many aspects.
Firstly is Density, the density of ceramic fiber felt ranges from 220 to 250 kg/m3, while ceramic fiber blanket density is in the range 64-160 kg/m3, so felt relatively is a hard material, ceramic fiber blanket is fluffy, like cotton in a quilt that is composed of loose cotton acupuncture, CCEWOOL ceramic fiber blanket is double needled, with uniform surface more smooth.
Secondly is the application,ceramic fiber blanket is soft can winding and overlapping so it can be more extensive in practical application while the ceramic fiber felt is relatively hard, can only be used flat and do not be folded or bent. For example in the pipe heat preservation can only use the ceramic fiber blanket in package,the felt cannot be used. CCEWOOL ceramic fiber blanket is widely used in industrial kiln wall lining, furnace masonry dilatation joint, oven door, roof insulation sealing; Heat pipe insulation, fire retardant coating, etc.
Thirdly is Heat preservation effect comparison: because ceramic fiber blanket is fluffy, middle has a lot of space, also can be very good block stream, both the density of just choosing suitable thickness of the blanket, and felt in density of 220kg/m3, quality is very bad and rough surface, after use, there will be a gap between the furnace wall heat preservation effect is not as good as ceramic fiber blanket, if you need to have a certain hardness of materials ceramic fiber board can be used in place of the felt
Fourthly is Price comparison, the price of the ceramic fiber blanket is only half the ceramic fiber felt, and transportation and construction are simpler, so the ceramic fiber blanket has better price.
After this several contrast, you can see ceramic fiber blanket can't be called ceramic fiber felt, and ceramic fiber blanket from various aspects are better than ceramic fiber blanket.
