     Refractory materials used in industrial furnace mainly include refractory brick,  refractory castable and ceramic fiber . Refractory brick is the earliest industrial furnace lining material, has high resistance to high temperature, erosion resistance.

     Its shortcoming is inconvenient in manufacturing and furnace constructing, currently only be used under some certain conditions. Refractory castable lining, as a kind of heavy refractory material, compared with the refractory brick, the process is simpler without burning. But the defects such as bulk density, thermal insulation performance, construction cycle is still large, limits the application of this type of lining material. As a lightweight, the highly effective refractory insulation materials, ceramic fiber has light weight, better thermal insulation performance, construction convenient, lining without baking and many other advantages, So it is currently the most widely used industrial furnaces lining material. Ceramic fiber has very low thermal conductivity, used for furnace lining can reduce furnace wall heat dissipation, have good energy saving effect. Meanwhile because of the the characteristics of low thermal inertia, It makes the temperature control of heating furnace changes more convenient, thus CCEWOOL ceramic fiber (module) are widely used in the heating furnace of steel industry as furnace lining.

     Traditional industrial furnace refractory lining has a lot of weight, furnace heat storage waste is serious, the insulation effect is poor, the cold-side temperature of furnace body is over 100 ℃, It is different to control the furnace temperature precisely. In recent years, the design of industrial furnace wall and roof refractory lining adopt the full ceramic fiber lining. Because the fiber of low thermal conductivity, low density, light weight, the design of industrial furnace construction all use lighter steel support structure, which makes the development of the industrial furnace into the era of "light weight furnace". Fiber heat storage is small, to adapt to the rapid heating and cooling mode of operation. In addition CCEWOOL ceramic fiber module can be processed into special shaped products, to adapt to various shapes of the furnace shell inner wall. Fiber module has a good resistance to mechanical vibrations and shock, as well as better chemical stability, these advantages play an important role in promoting the development of new type furnace.

     In heating furnace of steel industry, CCEWOOL ceramic fiber module is mainly used in ladle cover, billet carrier, wall of heat treatment furnace, etc. At present in the heat treatment furnace with high cleanliness requirements, CCEWOOL ceramic fiber modules are also lined. As Figure 1 shows, cold-rolled strip annealing furnace, from heating to cooling section, from top to bottom are all adopted CCEWOOL ceramic fiber module as lining, figure in A is basic module. As shown in Figure c, in the direct heat section of the preheating section, hollow type module is convenient to install burner directly. In heating section, in order to coordinate the installation of the radiant tube, the whole furnace wall adopt module in the form of B. In the furnace roller shaft neck, modules can be made into bell shape, as shown in figure E, make it convenient to install lining. In order to prevent fiber migration contaminated strip steel, the module can also be coated with CCEWOOL refractory hardener, In the throat, chamber of furnace bottom and some other special shaped parts, can be used as shown in figure D, G, H CCEWOOL special shaped modules.

     CCEWOOL ceramic fiber folded blanket module adopts CCEWOOL ceramic fiber blanket, folded into accordion-like according to certain width, then embed the anchoring into module and folded and compressed. CCEWOOL modular fiber do not contain any binder. Folded blanket will jam each other in different directions without gaps after the lifting of the strapping. Figure 2 schematic for folding compression module.

     Installation method of CCEWOOL ceramic fiber module in furnace wall, as shown in figure 3. Before module installation, it is need to welding short anchors (head with thread) on furnace wall. And then covered with a layer of normal CCEWOOL insulation rock wool, thickness 15~20 mm. The module back bead at the center of the hole and short anchor pin alignment, make anchor nail head into the module on the hollow tube, will cooperate with anchor nail head screw nut in a socket wrench head sleeve, insert the socket module of hollow casing, rotate the wrench, tighten nut to anchor nail head. Nut, screw anchor nail and back bead connected in this way, thus the module fixed on the furnace shell.

     Reinforcement plate on the back layering is very important, playing the role of reinforcement of bolted joints. Figure 4 shows the shape of after module installation. When the module is installed, folding directions must stagger, Horizontal and vertical module must be installed interval. The aim is to: when all installed, removed the bundle after, let module can free expansion, will fill the gap. 

     CCEWOOL ceramic fiber module installation process is simple and convenient, But in strict accordance with the requirements of each step,  Suppose if welding short anchor nail is not secure, will cause the module overall fall off wall collapse and other major accidents, if the direction of module folding did not stagger when installation can lead to a module cannot be subject to uniform pressure and mobility.
