Ceramic fiber insulation board in steel industry
The ceramic fiber insulation board is also called aluminum silicate fiber board, it is a refractory material. Even if it maintains good mechanical strength after heating, the product is rigid and has a supporting strength of fiber insulation products compared to fiber blankets and felts.

Production principle:
It is blown fiber (short fiber, thin, easy to be broken and mixed) as the raw material of the ceramic fiber insulation board, and a certain proportion of the binder and the filler-level auxiliary agent are added, and the slurry is fully dispersed in the slurry tank through the beater. Use a pump to drive into the forming bath and stir with compressed air. Put the mold into the molding pool, and use the principle of vacuuming to adsorb the fiber slurry on the mold. The adsorption time is precisely controlled, the fiber wet material is vacuum dehydrated, demolded, placed in a tray and sent to a drying oven for drying for 10-24 hours. The dried fiberboard passes through a special grinding machine and a trimming machine to precisely control the size.
Ceramic fiber insulation boards have been widely used in various industrial fields, including metallurgy, electric power, machinery, chemicals, etc. In the industry, it is mainly used as a protection project for high-temperature equipment. It is also used in high-temperature sealing, catalyst carrier, noise reduction, filtration, and composite reinforcements, such as baffles for high-temperature ceramic kiln, baffles for furnace doors, and so on.
Because of its thermal conductivity, ceramic fiber insulation board takes a long time, and the energy consumption is too large, and the drying uniformity is poor. However, the microwave drying technology bypasses the problem of poor heat transfer performance and improves The production efficiency meets the requirements of high-efficiency, energy-saving and environmental protection in modern industrial production, and solves the problem that the traditional ceramic fiber insulation board drying technology takes a long time, the capital turnover is slow, and the drying is uneven. The drying process is fast and rapid, and the deep drying can be completed in a few minutes, so that the final water content can reach more than one thousandth; the drying is uniform, the product has good drying quality; high efficiency, energy saving, safety and environmental protection.
