CCEWOOL Views: The application of ceramic fiber wool in heat treatment furnace
Heat treatment furnace is a general designation of various metals heat treatment industrial furnaces. You can employ various shapes of heat treatment furnace, but it requires more stringent control of furnace temperature and furnace atmosphere. Most of the heat treatment furnace use gas for heating fuel. In order to control the furnace accurately, some use electric heating. For continuous heat treatment process, it shall be equipped with suitable continuous heat treatment furnace; for period working heat treatment furnace, it need to use controlled atmosphere and forced circulation of the furnace operations mechanization and automation.

CCEWOOL ceramic fiber products are high temperature resistant, heat insulation, light weight and excellent thermal shock resistance. To replace the traditional high density refractory as the heat treatment furnace lining is able to strengthen the insulation structure of furnace and to control the heat loss, therefore achieving the energy efficiency.
Adopting CCEWOOL ceramic fiber as lining, the heat treatment furnace wall will be light weight and has low heat capacity, increasing the heat speed and shorten the operation period, saving steel material, achieving high efficiency and light weight kiln. What’s more, it can be put into use immediately without bake.
Adopting boding layer structure of blanket and module is the most common structure of furnace lining. It has advantages as below:
Longer service life; without slit within the lining; easy to stall and repair.
The low temperature stage(650C) of furnace use CCEWOOL 1050 COM furnace, while high temperature stage(1000C-1150C) use CCEWOOL 1400 AZ ceramic fiber.
