Application advantages of refractory ceramic fiber used in ethylene pyrolysis furnace
Pyrolyzer is the key equipment in ethylene equipment, which heats the small molecular alkane or heavy oil atomization raw materials to a certain temperature in the furnace tube. The ethylene cracking reaction generates the required ethylene (CH2= CH2), propylene (CH3CH=CH2) and C4. Due to high cracking furnace hearth temperature (1300 ℃), the flame center temperature up to 1350 ~ 1350 ℃, for selecting the reasonable, safe and reliable refractory materials, we must be fully understand all kinds of refractory materials( refractory ceramic fiber )to achieve the purpose of application.

The traditional structure of lightweight refractory brick and refractory castable, the coefficient of thermal conductivity, thermal shock resistance is poor, causing cracking furnace furnace outer wall temperature and heat loss. CCEWOOL refractory ceramic fiber as a new type of high efficiency and energy saving material, which has good heat insulation performance, high temperature resistant, thermal shock and mechanical shock resistance, is the most ideal refractory insulation materials in the world today. 1. High operation temperature
With the development of the refractory ceramic fiber production and application technology, CCEWOOL refractory ceramic fiber product has achieved its standardization and functionality, from the operation temperature can meet different grades from 600 ℃ to 1500 ℃. From the form has evolved from the traditional cotton, blankets, blanket products to fiber modules, boards, special-shaped products, paper, textile and other forms of secondary processing and deep processing products. 2. Low density
Refractory ceramic fiber’s density normally from 64-320kg/m3, which is 1/5 of lightweight refractory castable. For new design furnace, it can not only save steel material but simplify the furnace construction.
3. Low heat capacity
Refractory ceramic fiber heat capacity is 1/14 of refractory brick, 1/7 of insulating brick. For cyclical operated cracking furnace, it can reduce the unproductive fuel consumption.
4. Easy construction and short period
Refractory ceramic fiber can be prefabricated into various shapes of block, blanket, blanket, rope, cloth, paper...etc. It is easy to facilitate all kind of construction method. Because of its excellent flexibility, the compression can be predicted in order not keep inflation at construction seam, general skilled workers can operate.
5. After construction does not need oven and maintenance
Adopt the structure of refractory brick and refractory castable should strictly abide by the oven curve and curing period, especially refractory castable curing period is quite long, 4-7 days commonly, which reduces the utilization rate of the stove. If adopt whole fiber furnace lining, if not restricted by other metal components, after construction can be quickly promoted to the process temperature. Not only improve the effective utilization of industrial furnace but reduce the fuel consumed by non-production .
6. Low thermal conductivity
Aluminum silicate fiber diameter is 3-5 um consortium, having many masonry gap and the thermal conductivity is very low. But under different temperature, the lowest thermal conductivity with the corresponding optimal density and volume density will increase with the rising of temperature. Based on the experience of application in cracking furnace recent years, when adopting the whole fiber structure, volume density should be controlled during 200 ~ 220 kg/m3.
7. Good chemical stability and air scour resistance:
Refractory ceramic fiber is corrosive only in phosphoric acid, hydrofluoric acid and hot alkali corrosion, while in other corrosive medium is stable.
