What is insulation rock wool made from?
CCEWOOL insulation rock wool is produced with high-quality natural rocks such as basalt and dolomite as the main raw materials.
The raw materials are melted under a high temperature of about 1500 ℃ in a cupola, and the melted raw material is centrifuged into fibers at a high speed through a four-roll centrifuge. Then spray a small amount of phenolic resin with water repellent, emulsified oil, etc. Under the action of negative pressure wind, the newly formed rock wool fibers are quickly collected together to form rock wool felt, then through pendulum, pleating, compressing and curing to form rock wool board, rock wool blanket, rock wool pipe shell, etc for various applications according to customers’ demands.
CCEWOOL insulation rock wool does not contain asbestos, and does not use CFCs, HCFCs and HFCs and other substances which are harmful to the environment in the production process. It will not harm human body, and doesn’t have the risk of cancer.
