Insulation application of ceramic fiber blanket for tunnel kiln

1-Insulating brick masonry
Insulating brick masonry method is the same as clay refractory bricks, all using refractory mortar for masonry. Each layer with the same size brick for masonry, mortar joint is controlled less than 3 mm. Masonry should guarantee the slurry’s plumpness more than 90%. It is forbidden to use the hammer to knock the brick. Instead, use rubber hammer or wooden hammer tapping the brick surface will adjust the bricks neatly. To avoid the insulating brick directly contact with fire, observation hole is available use refractory brick for masonry. And the thermal insulation wall, ceramic fiber blanket for tunnel kiln and exterior walls all can use clay brick for masonry.
2-Insulation layer masonry
The filling insulation material between interior and exterior wall should be uniform, enriched, airtight and waterproof. Insulation material commonly used CCEWOOL 1260 ceramic fiber blanket for tunnel kiln. Installation process should pay attention: the seam between blankets must be closely contact, using high temperature adhesive to bond the blankets to ensure its sealing and heat preservation effect. If blanket need be cut during processing, pls use cutting tool to make sure right size. It is forbidden to tear by hand directly.
3-Kiln roof insulation
Between the refractory hanging plate and straight wall lap lay CCEWOOL1400AZ ceramic fiber blanket for tunnel kiln. Then do 20 mm thickness layer of lightweight aggregate refractory clay sculptures, laying insulation layer (including cast coal pipe and duct installation and insulation) and kiln top surface sealing.
4-Refractory plate and straight wall lap
