Energy saving effect of heating furnace indifferent heat-recovering ways.
Steel rolling heating furnace is the energy guzzler during rolling production process, accounting for 80% of the total consumption of the rolling process, and the heat going away with high temperature flue gas accounted for 20% to 50% in furnace heat load.

How to maximize the efficient recovery and make good use of this part of the waste heat is one of the key technologies of energy saving industrial furnaces. Furnace energy saving mode can be divided into two parts, one for improving the efficiency of the furnace, by increasing the blank out of the heat and reducing the temperature of the furnace and other ways to reduce gas load; the other is to improve the amount of recovered waste heat of the flue gas by reducing the loss reduction furnace exhaust way furnace heat loss, thereby reducing fuel consumption.
There are three main ways of heating furnace waste heat, one for heat exchange technology, and the second is a regenerative technology, the third is based on the technology recuperative waste heat boiler technology. Three methods have advantages and disadvantages.
(1)Using regenerative furnace technology to fully recovered flue gas heat energy losses without increasing the other, which is in favor of the heating furnace flue gas waste heat recovery. While using regenerative technology can effectively solve the problem of low calorific value gas combustion, to achieve optimal use of gas resources, according to the quality of gas to achieve cascade utilization, finally maximize business efficiency. But regenerative operating costs, high labor costs and longevity of the equipment are the key direction for further research.
(2)Using high-efficiency heat exchanger technology for heating furnace, which are production stability, long run period, low labor costs and suitable for large-scale industrial production. How to improve the efficiency of the heat exchanger without increasing cost of production conditions, is further research direction.
(3)Waste heat boiler technology is a supplement to existing heat transfer technology, which can effectively recycle heating furnace heat, but its ancillary equipment is much, while the consumption is large. Multiple energy conversion resulting in reduced efficiency, therefore its economic benefit is not very significant.
