CCEWOOL Views: brief introduction of reverberatory furnace
Reverberatory furnace is a kind of chamber flame furnace, generally used in non-ferrous metal refining. It is also called flame rever-beratory furnace, which heats the material through flame directly to melt metal.

Composed of burning tomb, melting chamber and the exhaust flue (chimney), the whole hearth is a rectangle melting chamber built with refractory material.
According to the damage mechanism, reverberatory furnace requires refractories with anti-corrosion, thermal shock resistance and high compressive strength.
Reverberatory furnace used refractories various parts:
Roof: generally using silica brick, magnesia-alumina brick, magnesia chrome brick, CCEWOOL alumina bricks.
Furnace wall: interior wall uses magnesia brick, magnesia-alumina brick, insulating layer generally uses CCEWOOL Clay brick and CCEWOOL ceramic fiber board.
Bottom: generally using magnesium aluminum brick, clay brick, asbestos.
CCEWOOL® ceramic fiber board, also known for aluminum silicate board，made through automation control and continuous production process, with a host of features such as precise size, good flatness, high strength, lightweight, excellent thermal shock resistance and anti-stripping, which can be widely used for insulation in the linings around and at the bottom of kilns, as well as ceramic kilns fire position, craft glass mold and other positions. Temperature varies from 1260℃ (2300℉）to 1430℃(2600℉).
It can extend the service life of reverberatory furnace and makes it more energy saving if choose the good quality refractories.
