     In the industrial kilns, tunnel kiln, shuttle kiln, roller kiln are three relatively important kilns in ceramic industry. Next, let’s to know more about these three kilns from features, scope, and comprehensive understanding of energy saving.

1, shuttle kiln
     Gap-type production kilns in ceramic industry, suitable for small batch production of many varieties. Due to the flexibility of production, many small porcelain ceramics still use such kilns. But because it is the gap-type kiln, the kiln wall and kiln car need to absorb heat. Therefore,the total energy consumption is relatively high, but through the efforts of furnace designer and manufacturer, such as high-speed burner rapid firing or use of lightweight fire-resistant insulation material to reduce the furnace heat storage.
2, the tunnel kiln
     Just as its name implies, it's like a tunnel kiln. Due to continuous production, the heat of preheating is basically from the firing zone’s flue gas heat. Due to tunnel kiln’s wall is not like shuttle kiln, it is better than the gap-type furnace with energy saving effect. However, due to the trolley need to heat up again after cooling,which will waste some heat, therefore its energy-saving effect and the temperature difference is less than roller kiln.
3, roller kiln
     Since the in the process of preheating, firing and cooling, the temperature difference is very small.The firing time of shuttle kiln and tunnel kiln is  more than ten hours, while its firing time is just tens of minutes, therefore it is extended to manufacture art of ceramics, household ceramics. Its energy-saving effect is better than the tunnel kiln, but one of its biggest flaw is that it has high quality requirement for the sticks when firing temperature reduction products, the use of silicon carbide sticks can solve the firing problems within 1350 ℃.
     1. for a daily output is 20m3 or less, and product categories are various, due to its production can not meet the production capacity of the tunnel kiln, so rapid firing shuttle kilns in ceramic industry is more suitable.
     2. for the daily output is more than 20m3, but the glaze is complicated,traditional or electric shuttle kiln shuttle kiln is more suitable from your build kilns economic considerations.
     3. for larger output, higher altitude, heavy weight, higher temperature, glaze single, the best choice is trolley tunnel kiln.
     4. if the temperature is less than 1300 ℃, and the yield is larger, we recommend that you’d better to use the roller kiln, shuttle kiln or large fast.
