1. Performance of aluminum silicate refractory fiber blanket
Aluminum silicate refractory fiber blankets are mainly divided into aluminum silicate blown fiber blankets and aluminum silicate spun fiber blankets. Raw ores are melted and spun into fibers after melted under high temperature, and then it is formed into a blanket with a certain strength by needle punch process.
Aluminum silicate spun fiber blanket has longer fiber length and smaller thermal conductivity, so it is better than aluminum silicate blown fiber blanket in terms of thermal insulation performance. Ceramic spun fiber blankets are mostly used in pipes’ insulation.
Ceramic fiber blanket is resistant to temperature above 1000 ℃, resistant to corrosion, good chemical stability, resistant to acid and alkali. Ceramic fiber blanket is soft, elastic, has high tensile strength, excellent processing performance and construction performance. Ceramic fiber modules are produced by laminating and compressing ceramic fiber blanket and embedding anchors.
