The features of ceramic fiber board's production technology
The most common types of ceramic fiber board are divided into dry type production and wet type production ceramic fiber board. Although these two are both ceramic fiber board, there still have many differences in function and applications due to its’ the different production technologies.
Dry type production ceramic fiber board is sprayed adhesive on ceramic fiber and then is compressed by machine. This type of ceramic fiber board is low in density with excellent elasticity and flexibility. But its’ plasticity and insulation effect are lower than wet type production ceramic fiber board, and will be gradually replaced by wet type production ceramic fiber board.
Wet type production ceramic fiber board adopts water abrasive molding to mix ceramic fibers with a binder, and then Washing vacuum forming. The max size of dry type ceramic fiber board is 1000x1200mm with 10-50mm thickness. And dry type ceramic fiber board is high in density with excellent hardness, insulation effect and is easy for second processing.
Double Egret introduced full-auto ceramic fiber production line, so ceramic fiber board is more precisely in size and more flat in surface than wet type production technology. It is the idea insulation material for high temperature industry.
