Installation technique of insulating ceramic module in car-hearth furnace
Insulating ceramic module is used a lot in car-hearth furnace. See below the installation technique of insulating ceramic module.
1. Installation technique of insulating ceramic module with attachment hardware.
Insulating ceramic module is held in place by anchors with different shapes, drawn wire or folded plate yokes as well as channel braces. Attachment hardware is placed inside the module during the manufacturing process.
To keep the module sufficiently in place, the anchors attached to the module and studs along the furnace shell should be welded together. There should be no gap in between the module and furnace shell so that the modules would be even with each other after installation. This installation technique is suitable for installing and replacing single module in car-hearth furnace. The layout or arrangement of module could be either staggered or in sequence.
