In high-temperature industrial insulation projects, the choice of installation method plays a crucial role in enhancing insulation performance and extending the service life of furnace linings. CCEWOOL ceramic fiber insulation block offers two installation methods—Checkerboard Arrangement and Soldier Arrangement—tailored to different industrial applications, ensuring a tight seal and superior thermal stability.
Checkerboard Arrangement: Maximum Seam Coverage for Uniform Insulation
The Checkerboard Arrangement consists of four ceramic fiber insulation blocks in one group, arranged in a square with two on top and two below, where adjacent blocks are staggered by 90° along the compressed folding direction. This installation method offers several advantages:
Easy to install, suitable for various high-temperature industrial linings;
Maximizes seam coverage, minimizing heat loss;
Creates a more uniform insulation layer, improving thermal stability.
Soldier Arrangement: Secure Fixing to Prevent Gaps
The Soldier Arrangement aligns the ceramic fiber insulation blocks along the compressed dimension and is fixed using "U" pins. Key benefits of this method include:
Prevents gaps caused by uneven expansion of the block's edges;
Ensures a tight and secure structure, enhancing insulation performance;
