Briefly introduce furnace types used in alumina plant-hardening furnace, rotary kiln, trolley furnace
There are several types of furnace which is mainly related to the production of aluminum , such as hardening furnace, rotary kiln, trolley furnace. Next, let’s have a brief analysis of refractory application on these types of furnace.
Hardening furnace: which is designed according to user requirements of non-standard electric stove, is mainly used for a variety of hardening, heating and other heat treatment in the aluminum industry.
Hardening furnace is composed of the furnace, door, heating elements, ventilation structure control system. Lining of the inner wall is made of stainless steel plate and furnace shell. CCEWOOL ceramic fibers can be used as insulation materials between furnace pipe and furnace body.
Rotary kiln: is widely used in construction, metallurgy, chemical industry, environmental protection and many other production industries. It is used to baking aluminum hydroxide into alumina in production of aluminum. Refractory kiln body’s refractory lining is made of refractory fire bricks.
Trolley furnace: generally speaking, trolley furnace shell is made of steel plate and welded steel. Furnace lining insulation materials is made of CCEWOOL insulated fire brick, putting the ceramic fiber blanket in the sandwich layer as insulation materials. Energy-saving all-fiber trolley furnace lining adopts all-fiber structure, compared with brick hearth, the energy saving column is about almost 60%. Using high-quality ceramic fiber blanket as raw material, it can be cut into various specification by specialized equipment according to the furnace.
