Method for manufacturing lightweight insulation fire brick
There are four method for manufacturing lightweight insulation fire brick as following.

1. Burn the addition method. Also known as method of adding combustibles. Add combustible material that is easily burned out, such as charcoal, sawdust, etc to the brick-making mud. So after fired the product have a certain porosity.
2. Foam method. A foaming agent such as rosin soap is added to the brick-making mud, and use mechanical method to make it bubbling, and a porous product is obtained after firing.
3. Chemical method. A porous product is obtained in the brick making process by a chemical reaction capable of appropriately generating a gas, usually using dolomite or periclite plus gypsum and sulfuric acid as a foaming agent.
4. Porous material method. Light refractory bricks are produced from porous raw materials such as natural diatomite or artificial clay foam clinker, alumina or zirconia hollow spheres.
The currently used lightweight insulation fire brick mainly include lightweight clay bricks, lightweight high alumina bricks and lightweight silica bricks.
