Introduction of high temperature textile fiber
High temperature textile fiber is a SiO2 -Al2O3 -MgO(CaO) - ZrO2 glassy fiber.
In producing high temperature textile fiber, we introduce MgO (or CaO), ZrO2 into the melt with SiO2 and Al2O3 as main components. So as to expand the viscosity range of the melt, improve the fiber-forming conditions, and improve the fiber-forming rate and the softness of the fiber.
The high temperature textile fiber has below characteristics.
1. Fiber length (250~300mm), little non-fibrous material. The fiber has a silky luster and is soft in texture;
2. When the fiber is being used for producing fiber textile, in the carding process where the fiber is subjected to complex stresses such as shearing force, stretching force, bending force, etc., the fiber breaks less. Therefore, when we use this fiber to produce the yarn or sliver, we can guarantee the yield is high and strength of product is high.
