Do you know the difference between ceramic fiber and glass fiber?
Ceramic fiber is also known as aluminum silicate fiber, is a new high-grade refractory material. The minimum working temperature is 950 ℃, the highest is ℃. It is the raw material of ceramic fiber bulk, ceramic fiber blanket, ceramic fiber board.
Glass fiber also a kind of refractory material, its maximum service temperature less than 500 ℃, cover foil, coated silica. Glass fibers can be divided into yellow plastic, white plastic, its yellow gum subject to heat treatment, while the white is no high temperature processing, surface layer of wax layer. It can be used for glass fiber mat, reinforced materials, and so on.
The production process is different, so the refractoriness and application part are different.
